STAINLESS STEEL FABRICATION

Stainless is a different discipline from mild steel — it warps faster, needs cleaner joint preparation, and the weld itself has to be finished properly or it becomes the exact place where food and bacteria collect. We fabricate food-grade stainless for kitchens, canteens and institutions: industrial cooking pots, work surfaces, sinks and tanks.

WHAT WE BUILD

  • Industrial cooking pots and large-capacity cooking vessels for canteens, schools and events
  • Commercial kitchen work tables, shelving and prep surfaces
  • Stainless sinks, wash units and splashbacks
  • Storage and liquid tanks
  • Trolleys, racks and serving units
  • Stainless guardrails, handrails and balustrades

MATERIALS WE USE

Grade 304 stainless

The standard food-contact grade — corrosion resistant, easy to clean, suits most kitchen work.

Grade 316 stainless

Higher corrosion resistance for salty, acidic or chemically aggressive environments.

Brushed and polished finishes

Welds dressed back and the surface finished so there is nowhere for residue to sit.

QUESTIONS WE GET ASKED

Do you make industrial cooking pots?

Yes — large-capacity stainless cooking pots for canteens, schools, hotels and event caterers. Tell us the capacity you need in litres and whether it sits on a stand, over a fire, or on a gas ring, and we will build to that.

Is your stainless work food-safe?

We fabricate food-contact work in grade 304 or 316 stainless and dress the welds back so joints are smooth. A rough or pitted weld in a cooking vessel is where residue lodges, so the finishing matters as much as the welding.

Why is stainless more expensive than mild steel?

The material itself costs several times more, it welds slower, it needs TIG rather than stick for clean joints, and it takes extra time to finish. For anything that touches food, holds liquid, or lives outdoors unpainted, it is worth it. For a painted gate, mild steel is the better value.

Can you repair existing stainless equipment?

Usually yes. Cracked pots, split seams, broken table frames and damaged sinks can often be rewelded and refinished for far less than replacement. Send a photo on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth repairing.
