SHEET FOLDING, GUTTERS & HOUSE TOP DESIGNS

A flat sheet becomes a design the moment it is folded. We fold steel sheets and plates into gate panels with depth and pattern, into gutters and flashings cut to your roof, and into the house top details — crowns, ridges and trims — that finish a building. Every fold is set out from site measurements, so the piece fits the first time.

WHAT WE BUILD

  • Gate designs folded out of steel sheets and plates — raised panels, ribs and patterns
  • Gutters folded to the length and profile of your roof
  • Downpipes, gutter outlets and brackets to match
  • Flashings, valleys and wall cappings that close the gaps rain finds
  • House top designs — roof crowns, ridge caps and decorative fascia trims
  • Folded cladding and cover panels for frames and columns

MATERIALS WE USE

Mild steel sheet and plate

Folds cleanly and takes paint well — the usual choice for gate panels and decorative work.

Galvanised and Zincalume sheet

Zinc-protected for gutters, flashings and roof details that sit in the rain.

Pre-painted sheet

Factory colour matched to the roof, for gutters and trims that should blend in.

QUESTIONS WE GET ASKED

Can you fold a gate design out of sheet instead of using bars?

Yes. Folding a sheet or plate gives a gate panel depth and stiffness, and lets us press in ribs, frames and patterns that bars cannot make. Bring a photo or a sketch of the look you want and we will work out the folds.

Do you make gutters to measure?

Yes. We measure the roof edges on site and fold the gutters, outlets and downpipes to those lengths, with the right fall towards the outlets so water does not sit and rust the gutter from inside.

What are house top designs?

The folded metal details along the top of a house — roof crowns, ridge caps, fascia trims and decorative edges. They seal the joints of the roof and give the building a finished look.

Which sheet thickness should I choose?

It depends on the job. Gutters and flashings use thinner galvanised sheet, while gate panels need thicker sheet or plate so they do not dent or drum. We will recommend the gauge when we quote, and explain the price difference.
